KODAMA 98

The Kodama 98 is the ski for people who treat the whole mountain as a playground. At 98mm underfoot it is the most precise ski in the Kodama line — fast edge to edge, quick in tight terrain, with enough width to hold its own when conditions soften. It is a ski that rewards commitment and makes even ordinary runs into a playful grinfests. Our smallest freeride ski, its great for throwing tricks off cliff and flowing, creativity, using the whole mountain rather than just the direct route. It goes where you look, when you look there. We don't make a dedicated trick ski, but its smaller size and responsive feel encourage that style of riding. Its great in the resort, on piste or in mixed freeride conditions, side country, and spring skiing. If you like Park laps, side hits, creative mountain skiing or have been told your current skis are too wide, this is for you

Look after your Skis. Ride them hard they are made for fun. Waxed and tuned is always better. Ski Bases don’t want to be ground to often. By hand working through 120 and 220 grit, gives a nice finish. Work from tip to tail, long and smooth, wet the base whilst working. The sidewalls and topsheet are wood which is alive. Please keep them well varnished and oiled. They can be lightly sanded with 320 grit wet and dry. To revarnish them use either Osmo UV protection oil or Epifanes UV proof high gloss varnish, follow their instructions. A few coats are better than one.
